How the international matchmaking comparison was built.

Match Guarantee publishes the comparison and has a commercial interest in international matchmaking. We applied the same source and limitation rules to Match Guarantee that we applied to the other services. This is a research record, not an independent consumer ranking and not a claim that any provider is universally best.

Scope and inclusion

The primary comparison covers Match Guarantee, Kelleher International, Selective Search, Master Matchmakers, VIDA Select, and A Foreign Affair. Maclynn International is discussed separately because its public profile had one unclaimed review. UA Choice was considered but not scored because its 11-review, single-platform sample was too limited. Cinqe International and Millionaire Search International were considered but not scored because no attributable independent review profile with enough visible detail was located.

How platforms were selected

We reviewed current official service and pricing pages and attributable public profiles on Trustpilot, Better Business Bureau, ConsumerAffairs, and Yelp where accessible. Search snippets, first-party testimonials, first-party review widgets, and company success counters were not used as independent company-wide numeric evidence. Google review references were checked but were not used without an attributable profile with enough visible detail.

Each platform is reported separately. Trustpilot, BBB, ConsumerAffairs, and Yelp ratings were not averaged into a composite score. Their populations, interfaces, verification practices, location rules, and invitation patterns differ.

How reviews were coded

The public coding log records a stable review URL or ID, the displayed review date, rating, classification, theme tags, response visibility, inclusion decision, access date, and a short paraphrase. The paraphrases are not full review text.

A pattern word such as “several,” “multiple,” “commonly,” “often,” or “recurring” is used only when the claim is traceable to at least three separately logged reviews or two independent platforms. A single review is described as a single review. Critical statements are attributed to reviewers, and company responses are reported as company position and response context, not as proof that either side is correct.

The coded sample supports scoped statements about coaching, support, cultural guidance, video introductions, professional staff, attentive matchmakers, and managed dating-app work for the relevant services. The three coded A Foreign Affair reviews support an attributed description of reviewer allegations about paid communication, profile authenticity, or the path from online contact to an in-person meeting. Those remain allegations, not findings.

Sample-size limits

Profiles with fewer than 10 reviews are limited public samples. We also label one-platform samples under 20 as limited when a rating-based conclusion would be too strong. Trustpilot invitation history and profile status can affect representativeness. BBB profiles can combine headquarters and corporate-owned locations. Yelp can represent one location. ConsumerAffairs has its own review and verification interface.

The Kelleher Santa Monica Yelp profile was blocked or restricted during the final refresh. Its numeric rating and count were not retained. The accessible Kelleher BBB profile showed two customer reviews, and those platform records remain separate.

Pricing and service facts

Current official pages were used for current service descriptions and pricing. Historical competitor pricing was removed. Kelleher's current disclosure says pricing varies by search scope, geography, and engagement and is provided after a private consultation. Maclynn's reviewed page directs prospects to inquire. VIDA's current service guide says premium matchmaking starts at $1,695 per month with no long-term contract; the current scope and extras still need to be confirmed in consultation.

Match Guarantee's current price page lists 3 matches over 3 months for $2,900, 8 matches over 6 months for $5,900, an unlimited matchmaking partnership over 24 months for $14,900, and Custom Lifetime Matchmaking for $50,000. These are first-party package details, not evidence of a customer outcome.

Refresh and limitations

The final coordinated refresh was completed on August 27, 2026. It covered the six primary services plus Maclynn International, UA Choice, Cinqe International, and Millionaire Search International. For each considered service, we refreshed the current service description, geography, attributable profile availability, displayed rating and count where accessible, distribution and recent-review count where displayed, profile status, invitation and response context where displayed, pricing transparency, and source limitations.

Counts, ratings, response rates, pricing, and availability can change. This comparison does not use first-party claims about marriage outcomes, review totals, marriages, screening performance, database size, or success rates as independent evidence. It does not make a legal, safety, fraud, or regulatory finding about any provider.
